Our Plays

...

Dear teachers and theatre friends,

The Golden English Theatre team, refreshed and full of enthusiasm, has prepared four wonderful productions for you—designed for every level of English and every student age group—to make the new school year truly delightful! After last year’s success with The Little Prince, The Golden Ticket, and The Nutcracker, we return with the promise of another season filled with creativity and fun. So, let’s GET started again!

Our productions for the 2025–2026 school year are:

1.THE GOLDEN TICKET: Inspired by the beloved story Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. A poor child discovers the golden ticket that opens the gates to the most famous chocolate factory in the world. Its eccentric owner promises a grand reward to the one who stays kind and never gives up. A magical play for children aged 6–12, ideal for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 learners of English.

2.THE NUTCRACKER: The timeless Christmas classic about the doll that comes to life on Christmas Eve and battles the cunning Mouse King. A festive performance filled with music and dance, available only during the holiday season, from November 15 to December 30, 2025. Suitable for all English levels (Reception, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2), and for everyone who wants to feel the magic of Christmas.

3.WINNIE’S ADVENTURES: Winnie, the bear loved by children and adults alike, embarks on new adventures with his inseparable friends. Through his stories, children will not only laugh and enjoy themselves but also become familiar with the English language. Winnie introduces them to basic words and concepts while they help him solve mysteries in the forest and hunt down as much honey as possible. A playful show for children aged 3–8.

4.THE CANTERVILLE GHOST: An American family buys a castle haunted by the ghost of an English nobleman and faces a series of comical situations with wit and humor. Can they learn to live together peacefully? And if not, what’s the secret to making everyone happy? A performance based on Oscar Wilde’s famous satirical tale, which pokes fun at romantic notions of the supernatural and exaggerated fear of ghosts. Perfect for children aged 6–12, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

The younger and older students will accompany the heroes of the stories on their journeys and adventures, participating in the action on stage with the encouragement of the actors. It will be our great pleasure to present any of our performances at your school as well.
